Day 11 – No Power

Hasn’t been too hot to effect sleeping. Not having electricity means waking up whenever, but that’s life. CenterPoint has the 77007 zip code estimated as 21% outage still.  They had previously estimated that we would be below 20% outtage by Thursday.  Yes, restoration has visibly slowed.

Monday on the Roads

10 Days – No Power

No power for 10 days.  Neighbor Kathy just got a generator, so we have a light, a fan, and a phone charging station.  On the way to work I passed 7 intersections that were non-working.  Hwy 59 at Fountain View thankfully had police directing traffic (for the first time that I’ve seen anywhere).
