Summary: The episode starts with a UFO crash, and Mulder is tipped off by Deep Throat. The evacuation and Mulder sneaking through the woods reminded me of Close Encounters. UFO fanatic Max Fenig appears, and will do so again in future seasons. His part in the episode makes it most interesting.

From today’s perspective the show feels very 80s, from the clothing to the music.
