Dear Bill and all,

The bill is currently being drafted by Legislative Council, which I will re-file as soon as my office gets it back. As you may or may not know, St. Arnold's Brewery is in the district I represent. I have been working with Brock Wagner of St. Arnold's since last session when he presented to me the need for the bill. Last night, I spoke to Brock at the Texas Brewers Institute Reception. We discussed some new strategies for trying to get the bill passed this session. But, the public can sure help the effort by contacting members of the Licensing and Regulation Committee, as well as their state representatives and senators to make each familiar with the need for the legislation. Thank you all in advance for your activism.

Warm regards,
State Rep. Jessica Farrar

Actually, I'd say it's a good bet Farrar is already on board, since she sponsored the similar bill that failed in 2007.
