August Tomatos

The tomato plants in these parts tend to stop producing in the blaring summer heat.   Hiding in the shade inside my mammoth tomato plant that I put in the ground in February (and we didn’t have a late freeze) were these two wee cherry tomatoes, soon to be a snack for me.

It’ll be interesting to see if this plant starts producing more as it cools off. I may replant some cuttings soon for new, fall plants.
